Refund Policy

  • A full refund of registration and participation fees and charges will be made for any session cancelled or adjusted by COHOP.  For all other situations where refunds may be requested, the following guidelines shall apply.  The Director of COHOP shall have the authority to make decisions on all requests not specifically covered herein.

    1. If a participant requests a refund, in writing, 10 calendar days or more in advance of the first day of camp, a full refund, minus a $5.00 processing fee per session, will be issued.

    2. If a participant requests a refund, in writing, less than 10 calendar days prior to the first day of camp, a 75% refund will be issued if the participant can be replaced from the waiting list.

    3. If the participant can not be replaced from the waiting list, a 50% refund will be issued.

    4. No refund will be issued on the first day or after the first day of camp.

    5. No refund will be issued in the case of absences due to vacations or short-term illnesses (e.g. common cold).

    6. A student wishing to transfer from one session to another, must do so in writing at least 10 calendar days or more in advance of the first camp.

    Exceptions:  A full refund of all fees paid, less a $5.00 processing fee per camp, will be made if:  Prior to the first day of camp, a written excuse from a licensed medical doctor is provided indicating that the participant should not participate due to medical concerns or physical limitations.  

    OR  

    Prior to the first day of camp, a written verification is provided that the participant has been included in either a Middle School or High School program that prohibits participation in other recreational programs.
