• For over two decades, Renesia Martin has used her leadership and strategic insights to lead, reorganize, and implement major organizational changes at Fortune 100 companies. In the business sector she is known for her results orientation, learning agility, and strong influence in the development of other leaders.

As a student athlete, Renesia received her baccalaureate degree in journalism and a certificate of business administration from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Giving back to the community is one of Renesia’s passions and she has served as a volunteer at various nonprofit organizations. But for most of Renesia’s life she was keeping her family’s secret of domestic violence. After going through the process of making peace with her past, she is now fighting to bring about greater awareness concerning the impacts of childhood domestic violence. In 2012, she completed and published her first book, “Don’t Hit My Mama!”

“Don’t Hit My Mama!” is an emotionally riveting and compelling memoir, where Renesia describes what it was like to grow up in a domestic violent home, from a child’s perspective.  She also reveals the process she went through, as an adult, to find healing and wholeness first to herself, and secondly to her family.

In her leisure time Renesia enjoys writing, reading, interior decorating and traveling.
Renesia is passionate about speaking out about the experiences of life that limit our potential because she believes once you see that someone else has struggled and made it, you realize you can make it, too! She hopes to inspire others to face past hurts and pains, so they are able to move forward and fulfill their purpose.
